Brisbane’s Best Food Trucks
Get ready to embark on a delicious journey through Brisbane’s vibrant food truck scene! Whether you crave sweet or savoury, Brisbane food trucks have it all. Here’s a guide to some of the best food trucks around Brisbane, as well as the special eat precincts where you’ll find some of them gathered.
Holey Doughy

If you love cinnamon sugar doughnuts, look no further than Holey Doughy. The dough is made fresh every day, proofed, fried and covered in cinnamon sugar or filled with raspberry jam or Belgian dark chocolate. They’re light, fluffy and dense at the same time, perfectly sweet and generously sized, but they do make small bite sized doughnuts for those who want something smaller. Check them out at West End Market in Davies Park, every Saturday 6am-2pm and Caloundra Street Fair every Sunday between 8am-1pm.
Samba Catering Co
Samba Catering Co serves amazing Spanish and Brazilian cuisine. They’re most known for their very tasty paella – filled with very high quality ingredients. My favourite is their chicken and Spanish chorizo paella but if that isn’t for you, they have a mixed mushroom paella – which also happens to be vegan friendly and a seafood paella. Samba are a Gold Coast based food truck and frequent Miami Marketta on a Saturday night and other Gold Coast locations. Keep an eye on their socials like Instagram for where they’ll be next, they do visit Brisbane sometimes too.
Lydia’s Charkor BBQ

CharKor BBQ delivers some of the best tasting Korean BBQ on wheels but with a twist. It’s Korean BBQ cooked using a charcoal oven, giving us tender meat and ultra tasty flavours. My favourite would be their beautiful BBQ chicken with chicken salted chips and their amazing liquid cheese and teriyaki sauce. Included in their menu is Bulgogi Beef and BBQ Chicken with nachos, salad bowls, rice bowls and bento boxes. Check out their website for their full menu. They pop up at various places around Brisbane; check out their Instagram and their Facebook, it’s kept updated regularly.
I keep this list of food trucks updated regularly when I find a food truck I enjoy visiting or are removed when owners sell up and move on.
